On December 3, 2008 Old Point National Bank elected to participate in the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation's Temporary Liquidity Guarantee Program. Old Point National Bank elected to participate in both parts of the program: the Debt Guarantee Program and the Transaction Account Guarantee Program.
