On December 5, 2008, the Board of Directors of Marchex, Inc. adopted an increase
of 1 million shares to Marchex's previously announced stock repurchase program,
to provide for the repurchase of up to an aggregate of 7 million shares (less
shares previously repurchased) of Marchex's Class B common stock through open
market and privately negotiated transactions, at such times and in such amounts
as Marchex deems appropriate.
