Item 8.01. Other Events.

On December 8, 2008, Quicksilver Gas Services LP issued a press release announcing that it has completed the purchase of the Lake Arlington Dry System from Quicksilver Resources Inc. for $42 million. The company also provided an update on current borrowing capacity and availability under its senior secured revolving credit facility. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
