On December 1, 2008, Gordon Fong resigned as Executive Vice President and Chief
Financial Officer of Vineyard National Bancorp and its wholly-owned subsidiary,
Vineyard Bank, N.A.
The Company has commenced a search for the position of Chief Financial
Officer. James G. LeSieur will act as the interim Chief Financial Officer of
Vineyard National Bancorp and Vineyard Bank, N.A., pending regulatory approval.
