Effective November 28, 2008, First Place Financial Corp. and Camco Financial Corporation announced that by mutual consent the definitive agreement executed on May 7, 2008 for the planned acquisition of Camco by First Place has been terminated.

The press release, issued on November 28, 2008, announcing the termination of the planned acquisition is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
