ITEM 2.02 RESULTS OF OPERATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONDITION

On November 17, 2008, United Security Bancshares issued a press release updating its October 16, 2008 press release that reported the financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. This update arises from charges to the loan loss reserves due to real estate appraisals of collateral for certain loans received by the Company between October 16, 2008 and the date of the filing of the Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. A copy of the November 17, 2008 press release is attached, and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit 99.1.
