On November 11, 2008, Prudential Financial, Inc., a New Jersey corporation (the "Company"), issued a news release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared an annual dividend for 2008 of 58 cents ($0.58) per share of Common Stock. The news release is attached as Exhibit 99.0.
The 2008 dividend will be payable on December 19, 2008 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 24, 2008.
