(b) On November 6, 2008, Michael J. Rose accepted an offer to serve as the
Executive Vice President of Service, Support and Operations of Juniper Networks,
Inc. (the "Company"). In connection with such acceptance, Mr. Rose submitted his
resignation from the board of directors of the Company, effective upon the
commencement of his employment.
