On November 9, 2008, VIA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing results of two Phase 2 clinical trials of its lead drug candidate, VIA-2291. The results were presented on November 9, 2008 at the American Heart Association 2008 Scientific Sessions conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
