On November 5, 2008, Royal Gold, Inc. issued a press release announcing an increase in the Company's annual dividend from $0.28 to $0.32, payable on a quarterly basis. The first quarter calendar 2009 dividend of $0.08 per share is payable on January 16, 2009, to shareholders of record at the close of business on January 2, 2009.
