Certain officers.
Paul Craig, a member of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of
Rudolph Technologies, Inc. (the "Company") resigned as a member of the
Company's Board effective as of October 31, 2008. Mr. Craig has served as
one of the Company's directors since June 1996. This voluntary decision by
Mr. Craig was for personal reasons and was not the result of any
disagreement with the Company, the Board or any matter relating to their
operations, policies or practices.
