On October 23, 2008, Citizens, Inc. ("Citizens") issued a news release (the "Release") reporting that it will release its third quarter 2008 earnings on Thursday, November 6, 2008, and it intends to file its Form 10-Q for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 on Monday, November 10, 2008. Citizens also announced that it would hold a conference call to discuss its financial results at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time on Friday November 7, 2008.
