Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 27, 2008, Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.24 per share of common stock for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, which is payable on November 26, 2008 to common shareholders of record on November 14, 2008. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
