On October 24, 2008, Magellan Petroleum Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it had sent a letter of Walter McCann, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to ANS Investments LLC, a Company shareholder. The letter will be posted to the Company's website, www.magpet.com.
