On October 22, 2008, we issued a press release reporting our financial results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2008 (the "Press Release"). We believe that these non-GAAP financial measures provide useful information to investors, and allow for better year-over-year comparison, as the measures exclude from our GAAP net earnings, earnings per share and earnings per share forecast, as applicable, restructuring costs in the third and fourth quarter of 2007, fourth quarter 2007 tax law changes, a gain on the sale of property in 2007, a third quarter 2008 net tax benefit, and the impact of charges in the second quarter 2008 for prior years' adjustments associated with our Brazilian Supply Chain Solutions operation.
