American Pacific Corporation issued a press release, dated October 13, 2008,
reporting that its wholly-owned subsidiary Ampac-ISP Corp. completed the
acquisition of Marotta Holdings, Ltd. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries for a
Euro-denominated cash purchase price of €4.7 million. A copy of the press
release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
