On September 26, 2008, Atlantic Coast Federal Corporation announced that its Board of Directors reduced the regular quarterly cash dividend from $0.12 per common share to $0.11 per common share. The dividend will be paid on October 27, 2008, to all stockholders of record as of October 10, 2008. The full text of the press release is set forth in Exhibit 99.1.
