On September 8, 2008, Uranium Energy Corp. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the completion of hydrologic testing in the first production area of the Company's Goliad ISR Uranium Project in South Texas and that the Company has field a Production Area Authorization Application with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1
