On August 19, 2008, the Board of Directors of Britton & Koontz Capital Corporation (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $.18 per share, payable on September 15, 2008, to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 29, 2008. On September 4, 2008, the Company issued a press release announcing the declaration of the quarterly cash dividend. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
