On August 26, 2008, Unisys Corporation announced that it has been invited by the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to reenter the competition for the TSA's Information Technology Infrastructure Program contract. In inviting Unisys back into the competition, the TSA reversed a decision it made in June 2008 narrowing the field of competitors.
