Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 9, 2008, David J. Mullen, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Planning
of Transocean Inc. (the "Company") resigned his position with the Company to
pursue another opportunity.
On April 10, 2008, Terry B. Bonno was appointed as the Company's Vice President,
Marketing, and Simon Crowe was appointed as the Company's Vice President,
Planning. Ms. Bonno most recently served as the Company's Director, Marketing
North and South America Unit (AMU), and Mr. Crowe most recently served as
Director, Finance Europe and Africa Unit (EAU).
