By press release dated March 28, 2008, The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation announced that it has reached an agreement to sell Mellon 1st Business Bank to U.S. Bank, lead bank of U.S. Bancorp. The transaction, terms of which have not been announced, is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to close during the second quarter of 2008.
