Appointment of Principal Officers
On January 10, 2008, Microsoft Corp. announced the retirement and transition
plan for Jeffrey S. Raikes, president of the Microsoft Business Division. The
Company also announced it has hired Stephen Elop, formerly chief operating
officer of Juniper Networks, Inc., to succeed Mr. Raikes as president of the
Microsoft Business Division beginning late January 2008. Mr. Raikes will
continue to serve through September 2008 as a member of the Company's senior
leadership team.
