Orleans Homebuilders operates in 14 markets that include southeastern Pennsylvania; central New Jersey; southern New Jersey; Orange County, New York; Charlotte, Raleigh, and Greensboro, North Carolina; Richmond and Tidewater, Virginia; Chicago, Illinois; Orlando, Palm Coast, and Palm Bay, Florida; and Phoenix, Arizona. As of June 30, 2007, the company served in 100 communities, and owned or controlled approximately 10,503 building lots. The company, formerly known as FPA Corporation, was founded in 1918 and is headquartered in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
