This segment offers its products through wholesale and retail brokers, managing general agents, and underwriters, as well as through direct marketing. The Reinsurance segment provides property and casualty reinsurance to insurance companies. Its product lines include catastrophe; property; professional liability that covers directors’ and officers’ liability, employment practices liability, medical malpractice, and miscellaneous errors and omissions insurance risks; credit and bond, which include reinsurance of trade credit insurance products; motor coverage to insurers for motor liability losses; liability coverage, such as auto liability, general liability, personal and commercial umbrella, and workers’ compensation; and other products, including aviation, engineering, marine, personal accident, and crop reinsurance.
