The company’s products include Bremelanotide, a nasally-administered peptide in clinical development for the treatment of both male and female sexual dysfunction; and NeutroSpec, a radiolabeled monoclonal antibody product for imaging and diagnosing infection. It is also conducting research on peptidomimetic compounds for the treatment of other disorders, including congestive heart failure. Palatin Technologies has a strategic collaboration agreement with Mallinckrodt and King Pharmaceuticals, Inc. It also has a licensing and research collaboration agreement with AstraZeneca AB to discover, develop, and commercialize small molecule compounds that target MC receptors for the treatment of obesity, diabetes, and related metabolic syndrome.
