Its generic products include metoprolol, fluticasone, propranolol ER, cabergoline, amoxicillin, ibuprofen Rx, tramadol HCl and acetaminophen tablets, megestrol oral suspension, fluoxetine, and methimazole. The company offers its drugs in the solid oral dosage form, such as tablets, caplets, and two-piece hard-shell capsules, as well as oral suspension products and certain products in the semi-solid form of a cream. It markets its products to wholesalers, drug store chains, supermarket chains, mass merchandisers, distributors, managed health care organizations, mail order accounts, clinics, and government. The company’s brand products include Megace ES drugs for the treatment of anorexia, cachexia, or any unexplained significant weight loss in patients with a diagnosis of AIDS; megestrol acetate oral suspension; and NanoCrystal. It has a joint venture with Rhodes Technology to research, develop, commercialize, and market pharmaceutical preparations for human therapy; and Intellipharmaceutics Corp. for the development of Dexmethylphenidate XR and one controlled release generic product. The company has a collaboration agreement with Actavis Group for the development of 4 extended release generic products, such as Nifedipine XR, Methylphenidate LA, Zolpidem CR, and Alfuzosin.
