The company operates in three segments: Well Site Services, Offshore Products, and Tubular Services. The Well Site Services segment offers a range of products and services that are used to establish and maintain the flow of oil and gas from a well throughout its lifecycle, and to accommodate personnel in remote locations. It provides drilling services, rental equipment, work force accommodations, catering and logistics services, and modular building construction services. This segment also offers work force accommodations, catering, and logistics services to support work forces in the oil sands and various mining and related natural resource applications, as well as in the forest fire fighting and disaster relief efforts. The Offshore Products segment designs, manufactures, fabricates, inspects, assembles, repairs, tests, and markets sub sea equipment, offshore vessels, and rig equipment. This segment offers flexible bearings and connector products; sub sea pipeline products; marine winches, mooring and lifting systems, and rig equipment; conductor casing connections and pipes; drilling riser repair services; and blowout preventor stack assembly, integration, testing, and repair services. In addition, it provides completion-related rental tools and services, as well as testing and flowback services. The Tubular Services segment distributes a range of casing and tubing products; provides threading, remediation, logistical, and inventory management services; and offers e-commerce pricing, ordering, tracking, and financial reporting capabilities. The company was founded in 1995 as CE Holdings, Inc. and changed its name to CONEMSCO, Inc. in 1996. Further, it changed its name to Oil States International, Inc. in 2000.
