This segment serves the oil and gas, chemical process, electrical energy, automotive, food equipment and appliances, machine and cutting tools, construction and mining, aerospace and defense, electronics, communication equipment, and computer industries. The company’s Engineered Products segment provides tungsten powders, tungsten heavy alloys, tungsten carbide materials, and tungsten carbide cutting tools. It also produces carbon alloy steel impression die forgings, and grey and ductile iron castings, as well as provides precision metals processing services, such as grinding, polishing, blasting, cutting, flattening, and ultrasonic testing. This segment serves various industrial markets, including automotive, oil and gas, chemical process, machine and cutting tools, aerospace, construction and mining, and other markets requiring tools with hardness.
