(NYSE:SXI) Standex International Corporation operates as a diversified manufacturing company worldwide. The company operates in five segments: Food Service Equipment, Air Distribution Products, Engraving Products, Hydraulics Products, and Engineered Products. The Food Service Equipment segment manufactures commercial foodservice equipment for restaurants, convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, and supermarkets. It offers refrigerated cabinets, display units, modular structures, coolers, freezers, and cases; food service counters, buffet tables, and cabinets; commercial cook and hold units, rotisseries, pressure fryers, ovens, and baking equipment; counter top products; refrigerated display cases; and rotary vane pumps. The Air Distribution Products segment manufactures metal ducting and fittings for residential heating, ventilating, and air conditioning applications. The Engraving segment offers products for texturizing; tooling to manufacture absorbent cores of consumer and medical products; burst testers; and converting and finishing machinery to automotive, plastics, building products, synthetic materials, converting, textile and paper, computer, and construction industries. The Hydraulics Products segment provides single and double acting telescopic and piston rod hydraulic cylinders to truck manufacturers for the dump trailer and dump body industry. It markets its products to original equipment manufacturers manufacturing dump trucks, trash collection vehicles, and lift trucks. The Engineered Products segment provides metal spinning and custom fabricated components for applications in the aerospace, aviation, marine, and energy sectors, as well as manufactures reed switches, electrical connectors, sensors, toroids and relays, fixed and variable inductors and electronic assemblies, fluid sensors, tunable inductors, transformers, and magnetic components.
