Repligen sells Protein A products to chromatography companies, diagnostics companies, biopharmaceutical companies, and laboratory researchers primarily through value-added resellers and distributors in the United States and internationally; and markets SecreFlo directly to gastroenterologists in the United States. The company also conducts drug development programs for diseases, such as bipolar disorder and neurodegeneration. Its development stage products include RG1068, a Phase II clinical trial product that improve the detection of structural abnormalities of the pancreatic ducts during MRI imaging of the pancreas; and RG2417, a Phase II clinical trial product, is a biological compound used for the synthesis of DNA and RNA in patients with bipolar depression. Repligen has a research and development agreement with the Stanley Medical Research Institute for the development of RG2417.
