About Midway Games (NYSE:MWY)
Midway Games Inc. develops and publishes interactive entertainment software. The Company's games are available for play in all the generation home videogame consoles and handheld game platforms, including Sony's PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, Microsoft's Xbox, Nintendo's GameCube and Game Boy Advance. The Company's games also include game genres such as action, adventure, driving, extreme sports, fighting, horror, role-playing, sports and strategy. Midway Games has released many videogames including Mortal Kombat, a line of games that has sold over 20 million copies, MLB SlugFest, SpyHunter, NHL Hitz, Ready 2 Rumble Boxing, Hydro Thunder, San Francisco Rush Extreme Racing, NFL Blitz, Area 51, Cruis'n USA, NBA Jam, Rampage, Gauntlet, Joust, Defender, Centipede, Asteroids and Pong. During the year ended December 31, 2003, Midway Games released 28 videogames and developed four M-rated titles for this generation of home consoles.
