Further, the company operates an online photo sharing and personal publishing company that enables consumers to use their own photos to create physical products, including greeting cards, calendars, photo albums, and photo books; and creates and licenses its intellectual properties, such as the ‘Care Bear’ and ‘Strawberry Shortcake’ characters. Its domestic greeting card brands comprise American Greetings, Carlton Cards, and Gibson; and other domestic products include DesignWare party goods, Plus Mark gift wrap and boxed cards, DateWorks calendars, and AGI In-Store display fixtures. American Greetings Corporation distributes its products primarily through mass merchandisers, drug stores, and supermarkets.
