Alexza Pharmaceuticals has a development agreement with Autoliv ASP, Inc. for the development of heat packages that can be incorporated into proprietary single dose drug delivery device. The company was founded in 2000 as FaxMed, Inc. and changed its name to Alexza Corporation in June 2001. Later, it changed its name to Alexza Molecular Delivery Corporation in December 2001 and to Alexza Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2005. The company is based in Mountain View, California. |
