| Delek US Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the refining and marketing of petroleum products in the United States. It operates through three segments: Refining, Marketing, and Retail. The Refining segment operates an independent refinery in Tyler, Texas. This segment produces gasoline, diesel, jet fuels, liquefied petroleum gas, and natural gas liquids, as well as petrochemicals, such as propane, refinery grade propylene, and butanes; and other products, including anode grade coke, slurry oil, sulfur, and other blendstocks. Its customers include oil companies, independent refiners and marketers, jobbers, distributors, utility and transportation companies, and independent retail fuel operators. The Marketing segment sells refined products on a wholesale basis in west Texas through company-owned and third party operated terminals. The Retail segment markets gasoline, diesel, and other refined petroleum products, as well as food, beverages, and convenience merchandise, such as tobacco products, dairy products, and groceries through company-operated retail fuel and convenience stores under MAPCO Express, MAPCO Mart, East Coast, Discount Food Mart, Favorite Markets, and Fast Food and Fuel brands. As of December 31, 2007, this segment operated a network of 497 company-operated retail fuel and convenience stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Virginia.
