The Insurance Overseas General segment writes property, casualty, professional lines, marine, energy, aviation, political risk, specialty personal lines, consumer lines products, and accident and health coverages primarily in the Asia Pacific, the Far East, Latin America, and Europe. The Global Reinsurance segment provides property catastrophe reinsurance to insurers of commercial and personal property; proportional property; per risk excess of loss treaty reinsurance products; traditional and specialty property, casualty, marine, aviation, and medical malpractice reinsurance products. The Life Insurance and Reinsurance segment provides various traditional life reinsurance and life insurance products, including whole life, endowment plans, universal life, individual and group term life, personal accident, and variable annuity contracts.
