It operates in two divisions, Business Information and Professional Services. The Business Information division publishes business journals, court and commercial newspapers, and other publications; operates Web sites; and conducts a range of events for targeted audiences. It publishes 61 print publications consisting of 14 paid daily publications, 30 paid non-daily publications, and 17 non-paid non-daily publications. This division also provides business information electronically through its 44 on-line publication Web sites, 21 event and other non-publication Web sites, and e-mail notification systems, as well as produces events, including professional education seminars and award programs. The Professional Services division provides mortgage default processing and appellate services to the legal community primarily in Michigan, Indiana, and Minnesota. It uses its proprietary case management software system to process various foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, and litigation case files for residential mortgage defaults. This division also provides appellate services to attorneys in federal and state courts; and uses its proprietary document conversion system to assist law firms and attorneys in organizing, printing, and filing appellate briefs, records, and appendices that comply with the applicable rules of the U.S. Supreme Court, any of the 13 federal circuit courts or any state appellate court or appellate division.
