The company also provides consumers access to third-party services, such as wireless telephone and DTH satellite activation, satellite radio service, prepaid wireless airtime, and extended service plans. In addition, it manufactures various products, including telephony, antennas, wire, and cable products, as well as hard-to-find parts and accessories for consumer electronics products. As of December 31, 2007, the company operated 4,447 RadioShack company-operated stores located in the United States, as well as in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands; 739 kiosks located in the United States; 8 RadioShack service centers in the United States and 1 in Puerto Rico; and a network of 1,484 RadioShack dealer outlets.
