The Telecom Sector provides local exchange wireline telephone, long distance, DSL, and digital TV services. In addition, this segment owns and operates fiber optic network and facilities in Minnesota to transport interexchange communications as a service to telecommunications customers. The Enventis Sector distributes telecommunications and data processing equipment, as well as provides network and equipment monitoring, maintenance, and equipment consulting services. This segment also provides fiber-based transport for regional and national telecommunications carriers, wireless carriers, and other providers. In addition, it offers centrally managed and hosted unified communications services. This segment serves businesses primarily in the upper Midwest.
