(AP) -- CACI International Inc., a provider of information technology services to the federal government, said Wednesday its fiscal third-quarter profit jumped 21 percent, lifted by acquisitions and organic growth. Net income for the March quarter rose to $22.3 million, or 73 cents per share, from $18.4 million, or 59 cents per share. Revenue jumped 34 percent to $634.2 million from $473.1 million. On average, analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial forecast a quarterly profit of 69 cents per share on revenue of $584.6 million. CACI International said organic revenue grew 20 percent during the quarter, while four recent acquisitions in security services exceeded expectations and contributed to 71 percent growth in the intelligence segment over last year. In after-hours trading, shares of CACI International fell 70 cents to $49.42. The stock ended the regular session up 79 cents at $50.12.
