| AP ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) -- Information-technology services provider CACI International Inc. said Monday the U.S. Army has awarded the company an additional $30.6 million in new work on a recently won task order. The additional work on the four-year task order increases the total value of the contract to $72.6 million. Under the original contract, which was awarded in July, CACI is providing program management, systems engineering, logistics and training support for the Army's principal digital command and control system at the brigade level. The additional award expands these services to include the command and control system that supports the Army's aviation command. Special focus will be on services for the Army's helicopters, CACI said. CACI shares rose 78 cents to $44.61 in afternoon trading.
